Cast (The Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking) is a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles, California. Their mission is simple and powerful — to end modern slavery through education, advocacy and empowering survivors of human trafficking. I strived to rebrand Cast in a way that always has these values in mind.
The brand message is based around the concept that victims of human trafficking do not have a voice. Feeling like they’re trapped, their whole sense of individuality and humanity is taken away from them. Recreating Cast’s brand with a sense of warmth, comfort, and safety provides a welcoming refuge for these survivors and current victims of human trafficking.
